On a thunder filled night, Thrud finds herself with a raiding party attacking a small village during Nordic times. 

On the same stormy night, Freyr finds himself defending his home from a gang of Viking raiders.

Thrud and Freyr are the only survivors of this raid, and must learn to accept one another or die alone in the unforgiving Scandinavian winters.
